AWESOME MOLD’S FAQ for Injection Mold & Molding Business/Export
1. What is your standard lead time for quote?
Normally, it can be quoted within 1 day after receiving RFQ.
2. What's the general lead time for mold processing?
Generally, it is about 25~35 days; it depends on the mold's size and complexity. You can refer to the quotation sheet.
3.What standards of mold can you build? Can you do Hasco standards or equivalent?
Yes, we can.
According to measurement standard, we can build both Metric and Imperial standard mold.
According to component standard, it is generally DME or HASCO standard. And all is totally based on your needs. We have long-term cooperation relationship with the sub-distributers of LKM, Yudo, ASSAB etc. Therefore, it is totally not a problem at all.
4.Do you have any plastic raw material in your warehouse?
Honestly, we only have several common types in our warehouse such as ABS, PP, PA6, PA66, POM, PC. The others will be purchased if necessary. Since we have very good relationships with our raw material vendors, they can provide us as soon as we need. To ensure the punctual lead time, we will try to arrange to prepare enough material ahead of time. Please don’t worry. Everything will be under control.
5.Can you help us with molding and production? What is the minimal order?
Yes, we have totally 41 sets molding presses from 50T~280T of 1K molding press and 2K molding press. No matter it is low volume, or higher volume. You are always welcome to take the advantages of our services.
6.What price term can be worked?
Mostly FOB Shenzhen. But we can also offer CIF destination port; DDU destination port services. It is up to your conveniences.
7.What type of CAD Files is acceptable for you?
IGS, STEP, STP, X_T, PRT, DWG, STL, DXF, PDF etc. CAD formats are acceptable for us.
8.What packing can be provided?
For mould: It is packed by plywood box, one mold per box, and it will be tightened by iron frame to make sure its safety while shipping.
For part: general it is PE bags at first, bubble sheet packed as second, then put into paper cartons, Finally all carbon boxes will be put on composite-board (seaworthy plywood) pallets.
9.What materials can you provide with delivery?
Inside the box, there are following materials:
Material Quality Certificate, Molding Data, Mold Inspection Report, Final sample inspection reports and a Disk , which contains printed 2D Layout, 3D Model, 2D machining drawings, CNC Drawing, Electrode Drawings, Mold Test Video.
10.What is the quality & compensate policy of AWESOME MOLD?
We strictly implement ISO 9001 & ISO14001 standard to make sure all qualities stay high. Once the project is started. we arrange you a project management team to work with their engineers to ensure the mold is designed and manufactured efficiently. While tooling, all the components will be inspected by our QC Engineer. Meanwhile, our PE reports you all the progresses every Monday with the newest photos of parts.
